Edmonton Oilers loses third straight game
READ MORE:
The flu has been hitting the Oilers hard this season, but it was penalties that did a number on them Thursday night. The club took five consecutive penalties in the latter half of their game vs. the Rangers, and the visitors took advantage by firing home three powerplay goals enroute to a 4-2 win.
With the loss, the Oilers fall to 7-8-1 and below .500 for the first time this season. The club now sits in 11th spot in the Western Conference with 15 points. Edmonton embarks on a 10-day, five-game road trip starting Sunday, November 8 in Colorado.

I wonder what the score would be if Khabibulin wasn't in net. The poor guy stops 35 shots out of 39 last night.  He's doing his part, what's wrong with the other players. I hope they smarten up soon.

I hope they pick it up soon also, Khabibulin probably feels like he's on a puck firing range.
