Favre's agent apparently wants Favre to play this year. But this info comes from Pro Football Talk, so take it with a grain of salt.

Looks like someone really wants their 6% this year.

I think every time someone "scoops" a "Favre is coming out of retirement" article they should lose 1000 fanIQ points.  I am so sick and tired of hearing about this.

Oh Brett Favre, how can we miss you when you won't go away?

I heard from a VERY reliable source last week that Favre was working out hard - throwing the football around and saying he wants to play..  If he wants to play - let him play - if he wants to retire - let him retire...  All you haters out there - the guy carbed out a pretty nice career..  Just stop talking about him in the media... just let him play or stay retired  without a media circus

Doesn't every agent want their big name clients to play?  This isn't news.

If he does, great - if he doesn't, thats great too.  If this is the media/agent floating these rumors then it figures.  If it is Farve, then he is only hurting himself and putting his reputation in a very bad light... you judge a man by being able to take him at his word.
