It was a low scoring game, in fact, the first goal didn't come until 37 minutes of hockey had been played. Curtis Glencross grabbed the puck from the Coyotes on a missed pass and fed it to Langkow who got the point. It took the Coyotes until half way into the third period before they managed to tie the game, and for a while it looked like it might go to overtime, but Nigel Dawes, so hot this season, managed to get the go ahead goal around the 14 minute mark. Kiprusoff was tested right at the end of regulation, but made two quick saves to grab the win for Calgary at home.
The "C" of Red will have to hang on to that euphoria, as the Flames start a six game road trip tomorrow in Detroit. The next home game isn't until December 9th, when they host the Thrashers
