Chris Smith's wife tragically died in the accident, but his daughter was rescued by Canadian football player McCartney Sealey.

Sealey's brother had died in a car accident last November, but he didn't think twice about going into the accident and rescuing Smith's daughter. It's a great read, and an outstanding story.
