Fran Tarkenton is NOT a fan of Brett Favre

To say that Fran Tarkenton is very critical of Brett Favre is an understatement.  Tarkenton went on a radio show earlier this week and ripped the Vikings quarterback for being selfish for trying to play on Monday night against the Bears.  

Tarkenton went further to say that Favre should have stepped back and said “this is not best for the team” and taken himself out of the equation.

Tarkenton also feels that Favre has set the Vikings franchise back the last two years, and that backup quarterback Joe Webb gives the Vikings the best chance to win games right now.
