Gary Matthews Jr traded from the Angels to the Mets

Gary Matthews Jr wasn't getting enough playing time in Anaheim, so he asked the Angels to rectify the situation. So, to be nice to Matthews, they sent him to the Mets, who could use another outfielder, since Carlos Beltran decided to get surgery this offseason (allegedly) without the team's permission.

Little does Matthews know, NO ONE plays every day for the Mets. Lately, it seems like a Mets uniform guarantees you at least 2 weeks on the DL. We'll see if he can avoid the curse.
