The University of Georgia's latest mascot UGA VII died this week. That makes him the shortest tenured Georgia mascot in their storied history. He had been the mascot for just under 15 months. The previous shortest time period for a mascot was 6 years.
There will be no mascot for this week's game, but I'm sure UGA VIII will be on his way soon.
