Despite saying earlier this year that they had no plans to call him up, the Giants have brought super-prospect Buster Posey to their big league club. They probably didn't anticipate Bengie Molina's strained quad, or the subsequent struggles of backup Eli Whiteside.

Posey has been tearing up the minor leagues, and this might be a great time to really see what he is made of, in the midst of a huge playoff push for the Giants.
