Gilbert Arenas pleads guilty to felony
Arenas "accepted full responsibility for his actions, acknowledged that those actions were wrong and against the law, and has apologized to all who have been affected by his conduct," defense attorney Kenneth Wainstein said in a statement.
The question now is how much time he'll serve (I've heard possibly six months) and how this will affect his future in the NBA. It's not overly hard to void a guy's contract if he gets pegged with a felony, especially one that goes against the NBA's collective bargaining agreement (you can't bring guns to NBA arenas).
So we'll see what happens from here, but it doesn't look real good for Arenas.
