You've heard plenty this week about the Red Sox fan construction worker who buried a David Ortiz jersey under new Yankee Stadium and the Yankees promptly drilling/digging up the jersey once the New York Post broke the story and its whereabouts.
Now you can hear from the hero/idiot. Gino Gastignoli joined Sportscenter tonight to explain why he did and why he let the cat out of the bag. It wasn't for money he assures us. Ha.
Many things make the Yanks-Sox rivalry one of the best in sports, but you can't ignore the stupidity of both fans as perhaps the biggest factor.
