Why was this game even competitive? It boggles the mind. That "drive" that resulted in the safety was pathetic. Where was the schematic advantage there? Where was the veteran offensive line play there? After watching supposedly inferior teams take ND to the brink time and time again, I shouldn't be so boggled anymore. Weis can't put it all together. They are the inferior program now. I don't care how many co-head coach/specialists/consultants are hired, fired, or reassigned. The buck stops with Weis. Can they ask Hesburgh to be in charge of the search committee?

I think Brian Kelly is going to be getting a phone call.
