+3 thumbs upI know this really doesn't mean a whole lot but just seeing Ohio State above SEC schools in something makes me feel better!

+3 thumbs upThere are some posters on here that feel Ohio State can't get top recruits.  Take it up with Rivals.com, cause you are wrong again!

+1 thumbs upMost teams can.  *sigh*

And I'm just picking on ya.  I'm the same way every time Bama lands another verbal commitment.  I post it in the Bama league like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

+1 thumbs upAgain, Rice just missed the the Top 25.

+1 thumbs upquality over quantity kids:
ohio state lags behind Texas, LSU and USC in ESPN150 recruits
each of the aforementioned three have 9, while OSU has 6
ESPN also rates 75% of OSU recruits below 80 while UT, LSU and USC's classes have a majority of recruits rated at 80 or above
of course, this Buckeye class is very strong (still probably top 5). just not top 3.

+3 thumbs upAnyone who doesn't think OSU gets top recruits doesn't follow college football.
However, unless some of those guys are strong, fast linemen (OL and DL), the Buckeyes might still be struggling against some of the other top teams.

Excellent point.  They got blown off the ball by stronger, faster players that last two title games.  They have to recruit the same caliber players. Speed kills and strength punishes.  You can't hit what you can't see.  Pick your cliche.
