He's been called a cheater and a criminal, and spent time in jail once, but anyone who has ever worked for or with Rick Hendrick will tell you he is the kindest, most generous man they have ever met.

Now, Rick Hendrick has stepped up to the plate and is loaning one of his airplanes to the Haitian Relief Efforts.  One of his 45 passenger planes heads to Port au Prince, Haiti today, complete with a Hendrick flight crew, medical staff and supplies on board.

The plane is scheduled to make one round trip per day, and has two crews to ensure there are no delays.  Additionally, if needed, HMS has a second plane standing by to assist, should it be needed.

Hate him, or his drivers, if you must but the man is doing what he is able to help in Haiti.  Kudos to him and his staff who volunteered for the job.
