From our good friends, Sharapova's Thigh, we bring you the top 25 QBs for the 2009 fantasy football season. A few answers to your questions before we present the list:

No, it's not too early. If it were January it wouldn't be too early.

Yes, we have a problem.

Yes, this is a keeper list. The author is taking the long view of these players. Hence the low ranking of Old Man Warner.

No, neither Alex Smith nor Shaun Hill are on the list. Niners fans have to live with the fact that two rookie quarterbacks and JaMarcus Russell made the list before whomever ends up as their starting QB.

I think Flacco needs to be higher...not in a Ricky Williams way...just on the list.

Too high: Rodgers, Rivers, Ryan, Orton

Too low: Romo, Hasselbeck or Palmer

Wow. Matt Ryan #6?

I have had a feeling he might have a huge 2nd year like Peyton did, but I don't know.

I'm a huge Packer fan, and I find it hard to believe he should be that high.  (I like it though)

And Kurt Warner below Russell? That must be some kind of outer space crack they are smoking!

Keep in mind this is a keeper list. I have edited the post to reflect this (beyond the headline) and you should see this shortly.

Too high: JaMarcus Russell (the fact that he cracked the list at all is a surprise).

Interesting that Aaron Rodgers is ranked so high.  I expect big things from him as well, but will Green Bay have the running game to open up the pass for him? Also, Carson Palmer should NOT be below Romo, Cassell, and Eli Manning.  Other than that, good and interesting list.

Tom Brady at #5? Are you dadburncottonpickin'kidding me? That's way too low for a QB. Put him at #1 where he belongs, even though  he missed the rest of the year last year with a knee injury. That being said I agree with Brady Quinn at # 23.

Nope, which is why he'll put up 4,000 yards and 30 TDs for the forseeable future.  In related news, Ted Thompson is really good at wasting away good talent.

Flacco's numbers last season weren't that good. He was just lucky he played on a team with a great defense.

I don't have a problem with Tom Brady there. No one knows how he'll be when he returns.

Umm, didn't "Old Man Warner" take the Cards to the Super Bowl last season?? Big Ben all the way down to 9?? This list is a complete joke!!! Hope someone pick up on Warner in their league and stomps the hell out of Aaron (I'll never be as good as Brett Farve) Rodgers, along with about half the people ahead of him. He's got Larry Fitzgerald(the best WR in the league), and Boldin, Breaston, along with a couple other receivers to throw to!!

I always like the "Sharapovasthigh" insights, but I didn't know that he was related to Kyle Orton.  He must be, because he's talking about a much better version of Neckbeard than I've ever seen.

I'd probably put Hasselbeck in the top 15 as my only change. With Housh, he'll be a safer bet than some of those in front of him. The rest seems fine.

If Shaun Hill starts the season for the niners, I think he'll end up a better fantasy player (and score more fantasy points) than 8-10 guys on this list.

Fantasy is all about numbers. Warner at #22 is a joke. The only way they move the football is through the air. He would be in my top 10. Not sure I'd put Matt Ryan at #6 just yet either.
