In Honor of Denver Broncos QB Tim Tebow: “Tebowing” Officially Added to English Language

Ever since Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow started experiencing success in the NFL, the term tebowing has emerged.

Tebowing has unofficially been known as the act of taking a knee in prayer while participating in an athletic contest.

Only now, this isn’t the unofficial definition. It’s the official definition.

According to the Global Language Monitor, “tebowing” is now a part of the English language.
