As both sides get set to go to court tomorrow, NASCAR has indicated that they also sent Jeremy Mayfield's urine sampe to an independent Drug testing facility to verify the results obtained by Aegis. The result obtained verified the presence of a "blacked out" or banned substance.

Tomorrow Jeremy will try to get the judge to overturn his suspension and allow him to return to the track, in time for Daytona.

NASCAR on the other hand says Jeremy needs to just get on with it's program for reinstatement, including drug counselling and acknowledgement.

As I've stated many times, I agree with NASCAR. You did the crime, now you do the time.

2	I think that all professional people , not just players, should be held accountable for their on and off field actions. Just as I stated after the Kyle giutar smashing, if this happened at a larger team they would be fire on the spot. Just as if I worked on a car drunk and the repair failed I would be fire. Step up and own UP!

I guess I'm the odd ball here, they way NASCAR does their business in secret I dont believe a word they say, meth heads dont do it everynow and then, Ive known meth heads and I can look at pics of jeromy and I can tell he's not. It's just like long getting a record suspention for an engine.17 to big, NASCAR didnt like him so he's out, even Rick Hendrick said that happens, NASCAR does what they want to who they want when they want. Clariden D is a big sponsor so they couldnt say that their product causes that because it would upset them and Rousch.

How long have you known Jeremy? Spend a lot of time with him, do you? To say you can tell what he drugs he might use by looking at pictures (or even seeing him at a distance at a track) is absolutely ridiculous. JM could have settled this long ago by taking a hair strand test of his own and releasing the results. That he has made no move to do this doesn't bode well for his honesty in this situation. I'd like to see the quote (a link) from Rick Hendick if it isn't too much trouble - I seem to have missed - thanks.
