In a game that saw neither team light up the scoreboard, the UConn Huskies used a 2nd half surge to defeat Butler 53-41 and win their 3rd NCAA championship.  How bad was this game?  Butler shot 18% from the floor with their leaders Matt Howard and Shelvin Mack combining to make 5 of 29 shots.  UConn wasnt that much better though, as All-American Kemba Walker scored 16 points on 5-21 shooting.  In the end, UConn made the most of their opportunities and shut down the Bulldogs, who for the 2nd year in a row end up as national champion runner-ups.
