+1 thumbs upThat team is so effed with Kerr and Sarver running it.  Never ever should've sold all those 1st round picks, never ever should've traded for Shaq, and never ever should've fire D'Antoni.

Firing D'Antoni was fine, he's a gimmick coach.  Trading Marion was fine as well, although I question getting Shaq in return.  Mainly, they should have waited til after the Finals and nabbed Thibodeau.

Firing D'Antoni was fine due to the Shaq trade.  Marion would've been okay, had they gotten something worthwhile in the trade.  Acquiring Shaq was a whole new level stupid that could only be met by the Jason Kidd trade.

I'll always remember this team as the team that could've had a title if they only had some decent front office leadership.  They didn't, they never got that title, and basketball in America remained the same.

Honestly, basketball needs to avoid that style of play.  It doesn't work.  The Lakers were a more refined version of what the Suns want to be and got slaughtered by a good defensive team.

I agree to an extent.  The problem is finding a big who can run and defend the hoop.  That's all thats really missing.  If that can be attained then you have the most fun and fundamentally sound team.  Granted, I don't know if we can attain that kind of player.

I'm not going to oversimplify the Nuggets other woes, but they probably have the best player in the league who fits that criteria - Marcus Camby - and they're still terrible.  Although you're clearly onto something because before Kerr came around Phoenix was pushing hard for two years to pry Camby away.

+1 thumbs upSteve Kerr should be fired as well, after trading Two first round picks and Kurt Thomas to the Sonics for 8 million in cash.
