During the epic beatdown that the Raiders received at the hands of the Giants yesterday, JaMarcus Russell actually did something good. He completed 8 of 13 passes for 100 yards. Normally, those would be the stats of an awful QB, but for Russell, this was his best game all year. And here's the even better news: It pushed his season completion percentage above 40%. Awesome! Although I should note he was sacked six times yesterday, and fumbled three times.
Anyway, Russell through 5 games this year now has a completion percentage of 42.1%. Somewhere, Tim Couch and Ryan Leaf are wondering why they aren't still in the league.
So, here's the question: Is JaMarcus Russell the worst QB ever? He's getting pretty close if he isn't already there.
