Jack Del Rio's chances at returning to head coach the Jaguars in 2012 just got a lot slimmer

 Just days before the regular season is set to begin, the Jacksonville Jaguars have released starting quarterback David Garrard.  Garrard, scheduled to make $9 million this season, had struggled during the preseason but was still the man that coach Jack Del Rio had said would be the starter.  Now, that job is handed to Luke McCown with rookie Blaine Gabbert moving up to the #2 man.

With Del Rio already under the gun from Jaguars management to win 10 games this season or else, it looks like it could be a long year for Jacksonville
