Jamie McMurray to drive for Earnhardt Ganassi Racing in 2010

He won at Talladega, a win that was well deserved.  It was embarrassing, no doubt for the Cat in the Hat, Jack Roush to visit him in Victory Lane, given that he'd given Jamie the boot, and kept on David Ragan, even thought the youngster has no wins in 2009 (to date).

Jamie didn't know where he was going to be for 2010, but he was the elite driver looking for a ride.  Now he has found one.  Jamie will take over driver duties for the number 1 for Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing and become teammates with Juan Pablo Montoya.  Martin Truex Jr is leaving Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing at the end of the season and moving to Michael Waltrip Racing to take over the 55 Napa Toyota.  Michael Waltrip will step out of the full time ride, and likely concentrate on his television obligations and helping with the running of his racing company.

Roush Racing will continue with four cars, Matt Kenseth, Carl Edwards, Greg Biffle and David Ragan.
