Jason Campbell upset the Redskins tried to trade up for Mark Sanchez
Jason Campbell is about one step away from pulling a Jay Cutler after learning the Redskins tried to trade for Mark Sanchez on Draft Day.
You probably remember almost a month ago when the Redskins tried to trade Jason Campbell away to get Jay Cutler. Campbell wasn't real pleased about that, but he sucked it up and had a clear-the-air meeting with Redskins brass.

Then this past weekend, the Skins tried to trade up for Mark Sanchez.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. At least, that's the way Campbell is approaching things.

Fool me once, shame on.....you?  Fool me twice, won't get fooled again.  Campbell-the Redskins don't think you're good enough.  I hope you saved some of your signing bonuses, I see a placeholder position in your future.

There is one enormous flaw in Campbell's reasoning... Jay Cutler is a Pro Bowl QB... and Campbell, quite frankly, is a rather mediocre one.

I think for Campbell's side, he has put up with quite a lot of Snyder's spoiled brat tactics while also having to deal with multiple coaches and coordinators, etc.  For the Redskins, Campbell hasn't been to a Pro Bowl...yet.  And if the team treats him or hinders his development in this way, he probably won't get the chance to.  It works both ways, but it IS a business first, and the business is to win by getting the best players out there.

Wasn't Jay Cutler a pro-bowl QB because some other guys didn't wanna play?

Yeah I'll put blame on Snyder, who wants to spend his money on the Next Hot Thing Every Time.  He hasn't heard a rumor he doesn't like.  I'm Surprised he doesn't get a new coach every week.

I am sick and tired of these whining babies in pro sports. Hey Cambell,  you have yet proven yourself to anything to be complaining.  You suck as a quarterback, I don't see a lot of teams jumping on this, he may end up soon unemployed and they way he job market is in these days he should zip his mouth and stay where he is.

still though, that is a swift kick in the nads when your the starting QB and they try to trade you for an untested rookie who more then likely is not ready to be given full control of the helms. That is a FAIL of epic proportions

This began with Cutler, Cutler has not proven anything with Denver and he won't with Chicago, same with Cambell he has not proven anything in Washington either.  I feel until you show you a quarterback that has taken that team to another then really until then they got nothing really to complain about. and as far as Cambell goes he been in the league a few years and he hasn't really been tested cause he is awful.

Well Campbell does play in the toughest division so he has an excuse for sucking.   =)

The Mannings are a class on their own, both sons won a superbowl and pro bowlers.  Cambell is whining about Sanchez maybe we will find out Sanchez may be better who knows.   Maybe Washington wanted someone in case of something like this happens with Cambell and he was whining even before the draft as soon as Cutler went to Chicago he started to belly ache.  Can't compare Cambell with Manning on this one, Manning stepped up and Cambell has done nothing.  That is like comparing Joe Nameth to Ray Lucas.

I won't argue that Campbell has done anything.  But he is being treated like crap from Snyder and the rest of the front office.  Campbell has proven himself to be a starting quarterback, and while he doesn't dazzle with a lot of numbers, there aren't many (if any) backups out there that I would take over him.  While the Redskins have been somewhat competitive since Snyder took over, he has done more harm than good, from undermining coaches, overpaying for old free agents to not putting any faith into the personel he has.  Snyder is in a win now mode every week, and makes changes because he is the owner, not really thinking of the consequences.

Maybe Campbell should hit the weight room...........or watch some film..............or run a hill................or hang out w/ Santana Moss throwing passes.............instead of complaining to the media !!!

The look on Cutler's face says "I should have kept my mouth shut, look where this got me!" Cambell should act accordingly
