In an attempt to humor everyone, Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher showed up at a charity event in Nashville and removed his dress shirt and tie to reveal the Peyton Manning jersey he was wearing. His explanation for wearing the jersey of a division rival was that he "wanted to feel like a winner". Congratulations Coach Fisher. You just Tom Cable'd your entire fanbase.
I like Jeff Fisher, and I like what he did. I told my bearded die hard Titan room mate about Fisher saying "I just wanted to feel like a winner" he busted out laughing. That's what this season is. It's a chuckle. In the second quarter one of my buddies texted me 'This is getting comical now" after Brady's third td in the 2nd. At this point no one should care. The season is lost as far as wins. who cares at this point. It was for charity, Fisher has been great in the community. He deserves a pass.
fire his ass, if he wanted to be funny he should have stayed home and tried to figure out how to win a game or two. maybe he's trying to get a new assistant coaching job. he'll need one soon. TRAITOR.
Since this story initially broke, people have really started to overreact. I agree with WhoDat that we should poke fun at Jeff Fisher, but the guy was just making a joke.
