Yesterday I mentioned that Jeff George was looking to make a comeback despite not having thrown a pass in an NFL game since 2002. Or maybe it was 2001. I can't remember, but it's been a really long time.

Anyway, George's talk of a comeback apparently isn't just him talking, he made a workout tape three weeks ago and believe it or not, it's making the rounds in the NFL and UFL, and it's actually impressed some people. Seriously, the word "buzz" is being used to describe the tape.

So, apparently there's a chance that a 41 year-old perpetual team cancer who hasn't thrown a football in an NFL game in more than 5 years may get another chance to play in the NFL.

Man, are there really that few decent QBs in this country? I guess the answer is yes.
