Jeff Gordon is the toughest guy in NASCAR
The toughest guy in NASCAR is of course...Jeff Gordon. Wait, that can't be right.
READ MORE:
Jeff Gordon is not exactly of the toughest build, nor is his voice very intimidating, and he has his own wine and is married to a supermodel. But that doesn't mean he isn't one tough dude.

Noted NASCAR writer David Caraviello makes the argument that Gordon is the toughest mother on the circuit, primarily because of his ability to keep putting the pedal to the metal all while his back hurts like hell.

I guess that's admirable, but if he was driving with an arrow stuck through his chest, I'd probably be more impressed.

I'm not much of a Jeff Gordon fan but I do have to give the guy a ton of props for continuing to drive while injured.  Having a bad back is one thing but having a bad back and having to drive 400 miles a week while still being able to drive at a high level is very commendable

With the best health care available to anyone on the planet, I'm not surprised. Really, when my back went out, I got drugs and a pat on the butt...along with a "Go home and rest, good luck".

Honestly, I don't see how these guys crash like that and keep going. A long day at the park with a 3 year old wears me out.

On the flip side, they're tough but they could never do what we do. Just think, we do all this stuff without near the money, resources or help they have.

Hey, lay off my Man!!!  I wouldn't talk about your driver like that - well - okay; if your driver is Greg Biffle, Kurt or Kyle Bush or Mark Martin, I guess I would like to see them slam into the wall!   It's just racing! And before you get started, I know Mark Martin is on our team, but if he's retired, he needs to retire and let one of the new guys get in the car and get some experience.  I miss Rusty racing, but when he retired - he retired!  I have a bad back and I know how that can hurt, you have to give a man credit for that, even if you don't like him.  Hey, I don't knock Tony Stewart anymore - do I get points for that? LOL  Smoke has come a long way and I'm glad for him.  By the way, good luck everyone!

Oh my god, serious???? Dat is too freaking funnnnnny, lol. I always associated Nascar with a bunch of bad-ass boys. Blows my whole image of him, lol.
