If you were planning on taking a trip to the beaches near Brisbane, Australia for some surfing, you may want to rethink that vacation. For that matter if deep sea shark fishing was on the agenda, you should probably scratch that as well. Unless you are into hauling in 10-foot great whites...that have been bitten nearly in half by a 20-foot great white.
It looks like the "big one" is swimming somewhere off the coast of eastern Australia. Fishermen brought in a ten-footer with huge chunks missing from its midsection. The bite size indicates a shark upwards of 20 feet in length. The only shark capable of this kind of damage is, as Navy divers would describe it, the man in the extra, extra large gray suit.
God, I can't believe I need to wait nine months for the next Shark Week.
Just when you thought it was safe to go great white shark fishing
