It's going to be tough to replace Goran Suton and Travis Walton, but Michigan State should be a major threat to make another Final Four run.  Word on the street is that Derrick Nix completely transformed his body from high school and has looked great thus far in camp.  Izzo doesn't usually give freshman such high praise, so this kid must be doing something right.

Is this the year the Big 10 finally beats the ACC in the challenege?

I know losing your 2 best players to the NBA will hurt, but I heard the other day that Pitt is picked to finish 9th in the Big East.  Yeah they lost some firepower, but that's still a bit low for them.

It will be tough this year. Duke has usually held the banner for the ACC in the ACC/Big 10 challenge, going undefeated thus far. But Duke has to go on the road to Wisconsin this year and that's no cakewalk.

I don't know how long it will take the young guys to mesh, but Kentucky will be a beast by March.  Calipari made sure everyone passed their SAT.

Well rankings dont mean much....I think the coaches have more of a opion of who they think may be the better teams in the nation...But you have to play the game on the court 60 minutes the rankings are a big target on your back for every body to give there best shot to knock off a rank team??????
