More from the wishful thinking trade department ...Maybe Bill Simmons wasn't on crack the day he suggested a KG to Suns deal. Kevin Garnett is not hiding his interest in playing for Phoenix, so much as identifying them as destination #1.
Garnett was quick to say trade to Boston "isn't happening," and playing for the Suns is ideal. Can you imagine KG with Steve Nash? With Stoudemire on the other block? Only the chronically moronic Skip Bayless isn't tantalized by this possibility.
A Suns deal is still characterized as "nearly impossible," but it's appearing as though Garnett is intent on finding a Big Plane Ticket out of Minnesota.
Another day, another fun rumor to chew on. Any chance this happens?
