The Kings are already having a rough season, starting 1-4, and it's about to get worse, as it looks like their leading scorer Kevin Martin will have to spend some time recovering from his wrist injury.
Martin has to choose between trying to play through the hairline fracture, undergo surgery, or just wait it out. If he opts for surgery or rest, then he could be out for about 6-8 eweks. But if he plays through it, the injury could get worse, and he could miss more time in the long run.
Either way, this is no good for the Kings. It looks like they'll be playing for a lottery pick again.
