Jamie McMurray almost gave Chip Ganassi a weekend sweep.  It was just that close, but in the end, the elder Busch brother crossed the finish line first.

Younger brother Kyle Busch had put his mark on both the Truck and Nationwide races, but Kurt did in the Coca Cola 600 exactly what he had done one week earlier in the All Star Race.  Win.

Jimmie Johnson had an ill handling car and crashed out, as did Juan Pablo Montoya.  Both Kevin Harvick and Dale Earnhardt Jr had to pit during long green flag runs, but the story to close out the night was the lecture Jeff Burton delivered to Kyle Busch, even though it was actually RCR teammate Clint Bowyer who had forced Kyle into Jeff Burton.  Kyle didn't let the lecture bother him too much, commenting that no matter what he does he gets blamed, but given all the team had had to deal with in the race, he was pleased with their finish.

The race ended FOX's broadcast for the year, leaving us to suffer through TNT and ESPN for the summer months until ABC takes over for the closing races.  After ten years of broadcasts, FOX is still the network to beat when it comes to NASCAR.
