Lamar Woodley predicts Patriots and Jets will lose to prevent Steelers from making playoffs

The Steelers are in a tough spot right now. They need at least the Bengals to beat the Jets or the Patriots to beat the Houston Texans in order to have a chance to make the playoffs, and they probably need both those games to go their way. Normally, there would be pretty decent odds that both the Bengals and Pats would win. However, since both teams have nothing to play for, that probably won't happen. And that seems to piss off Lamarr Woodley.

"All of them will lay down," said Woodley. "No one wants to see Pittsburgh in there. That's just how it is. Everybody knows we're a dangerous team once we get into the playoffs no matter how we played throughout the whole year."

Now, before you Steelers homers (and I know there are a lot of you on this site) go nuts about the sanctity of playing competitively, etc., just remember that you guys put yourselves in this position by losing to the Chiefs, Raiders and Browns. You win one - just one - of those games, and suddenly you have nothing to worry about. So you deserve no sympathy whatsoever.

As the saying goes, you sleep in the bed you make. And you did not make a good one.
