Lane Kiffin Takes USC Job

Lane Kiffin, who once was USC's offensive coordinator under Pete Carroll, will leave Tennessee and take the Trojan's head coaching position.  Kiffin left USC to become the Oakland Raiders head coach, but was acrimoniously fired from that job.  He was the Volunteers coach last year where he infamously kept prodding and poking Florida coach Urban Meyer.

Is it a good hire for USC and where does Tennessee go from here?

Edit: Monte Kiffin and super recruiter Ed Orgeron will also be joining Kiffin in USC.  Overall, a pretty damn good package hire. And now Norm Chow is also coming back to USC.  With the exception of sanctions, USC may be in better shape than they were two weeks ago.
