Lane Kiffin takes a lot of heat from pretty much everyone for his unorthodox and seemingly arrogant style, but his handling of Nu'Keese Richardson and Mike Edwards has been impressive, in my opinion. Less than a week removed from their armed robbery arrests, and they're already off the team. Kiffin is clearly sending a message to the team that such behavior will not be tolerated at all, and 1 strike means you're out.

From Kiffin's statement regarding the dismissals:
"After extensive and thorough research of the situation over the last four days and considering various disciplinary options, I've decided it's in the best interest of our program to remove Nu'Keese and Mike. As I've said many times before, we hold our student-athletes to an extremely high standard on and off the field. Our student-athletes must be responsible members of society, and this type of conduct will not be tolerated."
