The Bengals are sitting pretty atop the tough AFC North at 7-2. The have beat the Steelers and Ravens twice and will surely beat the down and out Charlie Browns twice. In a sport that loves comeback stories and routing for the underdog I believe its time we fully appreciate what Carson Palmer has overcome to be the Quarterback he is today.
Out of respects for the day, otherwise this article would get one!
Carson Palmer has endured injury a prima-donna at WR inept coaching (at times). A team with a rap sheet a mile long! All the while getting it done with a team many picked to be bottom tier of the AFC North. Not to mention the burden of coming from USC with a Heisman, good Job Mr. Palmer!
Palmer hasn't been playing great (other than the Bears game) but he is playing pretty good. Cedric Benson has made his job a lot easier and so has the Bengals defense. He has shown some great leadership skills for the team.
