Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh has reportedly joined a group bidding to buy a portion of the St. Louis Rams. A confessed football lover, Limbaugh was previously an ESPN pregame comentator, but was fired after disparaging remarks about the Eagles' Donovan McNabb. All the bidding groups must pledge to keep the team in St. Louis and the successful bidder must still be approved by 75% of the NFL's ownership.
I only gave you a smart for the last sentence in your comment---since I assumed you were referring to b!tchGeorgia (I know she has passed...but I couldn't stand that woman...most L.A. Rams fans couldn't). BUT, that is the ONLY reason I gave you a smart.
I think he'd be better off keeping his money so he can pay his way out of problems when he flies to the dominican and then returns home with a bunch of illegal prescription sex drugs.
On a serious note, I've watched Dave Checketts work his magic with the St. Louis Blues and bring that franchise back from the dead and if he can do half of what he did with them with the Rams, sooner then later excitement will return to football in St. Louis.
He is obviously a passionate sports fan, and that is what one of the sorriest franchises in the NFL needs. Yes, that hurts because I have been a Rams fan my whole life...like I said in another thread - being objective sucks...it really, really sucks
