Louisiana Senator David Vitter calls out the NFL about Who Dat trademark

Louisiana Senator David Vitter is sick of the NFL trying to stifle fans wearing and selling "Who Dat" gear to celebrate the Saints' success. He sent a letter to commissioner Roger Goodell, asking the NFL to either cease and desist with the nonsense, or sue him.

"This letter will also serve as formal legal notice that I am having t-shirts printed that say "WHO DAT say we can't print Who Dat!" for widespread sale in commerce. Please either drop your present ridiculous position or sue me."

The thing is... Senator Vitter is probably pretty well versed in the law, being a senator and everything. And I'm sure he knows exactly what would happen if the NFL tried to sue him. He'd win. Easily.

So not it's time for the NFL to put up or shut up. We'll see if they call his bluff.
