Even MMA Superstars could only take so much of the Bears/Browns game on Sunday. Fedor Emelianenko and Brett Rodgers were at Soldier Field to promote their fight this Saturday night on CBS. The fight will happen at the Sears Centre, in the Chicago Suburbs. That is not the important part of the story, however.
The Russian, Emelianenko, had some really funny things to say. He admitted, "I found the game interesting... but what I think, the games I watch on TV seem to be more interesting, more exciting."
Good point, my friend. I know many Bears fans felt the same way. Luckily, after this sad contest, the Vikings and Packers were able to provide a more compelling professional football game. Since the game, Cleveland has decided to let their General Manager go as well. Most of all, thank you for being honest Mr. Emelianenko. You're eyes didn't deceive you. It was a truly painful game to watch.
