It is time to start getting ready for College Basketball !!
As I am sick and headed to get some sleep, i will make this brief. The link above is to the article for the Missouri Valley Conference site that serves as the pre-season preview. It is based around the preseason conference voting for the predicted standings and the pre-season 1st-team.
Northern Iowa is a near-unanimous pick by league coaches, media, and sports information directors to win the conference and returns all 5 starters and 9 of their top 10. Creighton (picked 2nd) returns 3 starters and tries to win 20+ games for the 12th straight year. Illinois State (picked 3rd) returns 3 starters as well, which includes the pre-season Player of the Year, Osiris Eldridge.
It is time for another season of college basketball and I am excited to see how the Missouri Valley does this season, including the team i follow, the ISU Redbirds.
