Madden 10 says Packers beat Vikings 25-22 on Sunday
Madden 10 predicts the Packers win 25-22 in OT against the Vikings this Sunday. For whatever that's worth.
In case you haven't heard, the Vikings play the Packers in Green Bay this weekend. Some guy named Brett Favre is getting all the attention.

Anyway, Madden 10 did a breakdown of the game in advance, and they concluded that Green Bay wins this game 25-22 in OT.

Aaron Rodgers is the man, throwing for over 300 yards and 3 TDs. Purple Jesus also has a good game as well, rushing for over 100 yards and a TD.

The only thing that's wrong with the simulation is that Favre throws no picks, which we all know will never happen.

Obviously, MADDEN 10 has never tried to tackle Adrian Peterson.

I totally disagree with Madden 10. I have Farve and the Vikes hanging on to a 35-26 win. That's my prediction, and I'm sticking to it.

Re: GB's 26 - Is that 3 td, 1 missed XP and 2 FG?

26 seems like such a specified prediction.

Problem is, that's a video game.  Thankfully that's not where the game is played. I could see a close one, but 7-1, here "we" come!

I played the Packers today with the Vikings for fun {without Brett Farve} and won like 48-21. I also played the Bills, with AP getting 457 yards rushing on normal setting...

hilarious, from a Badger and 9ers fan who lives in sconnie and doesn't even have the Packers as one of his teams.  yawn

A little perspective.  The Pack is 4-2.  They have beaten the Chicago Bears (3-3) at home, St. Louis Rams (0-7) in St. Louis, the Detroit Lions (1-5) at home, the Cleveland Browns (1-6) in Cleveland.  They have lost to the Cincinnati Bengals (5-2) at home, and the Vikings (6-1) in Minneapolis.

Their 4 wins are against teams with a cumulative record of: 5-21

Not even close to "the Packers we remember".....unless you're talking about pre 1992.

Could possibly be 3 TD's, 1 FG & 1 safety.

I tend to agree. The Vikes definitely should have a shot at a safety on Rodgers, and you KNOW Favre is gonna be playing with a serious chip on the ol' shoulder. Jared Allen should have a sack in the first half,  possibly a safety.
Vikes will take this one for sure, how can you bet against Purple Jesus?

well before the first game between these two Madden predicted Minnesota to win so after today they'll be 2-0 for their predictions.

So, how'd that go for ya?  And I never said you had to add a team to root for them.  My point was you were talking big for someone that isn't even much of a Packer's fan.

But you were right, I've been crying all day....from sheer joy that Brett did it and he and my team worked together to complete the sweep!

Thank God we all know that will never happen(Favre n no pics)  I never thought of him as the best ever, but watching him do stuff at 40 that only a few QB's ever do at any time in their careers has changed my mind.... that and watching the Pack go down at home!!!!!  The madden ratings are messed anyway.... antoine winfield is like an 83 overall and Anquan Boldin's speed is a 96... 96 out of a 100?  From a wr that ran like a 4.55 40 yd at the draft combine?  They need to fire the guy who thinks up those stats

Great prediction by Madden. Maybe we should use this to predict other things in life considering how accurate it was.
