On a night when Mariano notched his 500th save, becoming only the 2nd player ever to do so, he also had another memorable moment. In the top of the 9th, he drew a walk from Mets closer Francisco Rodriguez

That walk showed the real difference between Mo and K-Rod. While Rivera has been the model of consistency and has had success thanks to his accuracy and attacking the strike zone with his devastating cutter. K-Rod, on the other hand, has a dominant fastball, but lacks control, and has struggled occasionally because of that.

Congrats to Mariano Rivera, on his 500th save!
