"Safeco Field officials refused to comment on the incident. However, officials did send KOMO News a copy of the field's code of conduct which states 'displays of affection are not appropriate in a public family setting.'"

So I guess they don't have the Kiss Cam at Safeco?

What were they afraid Richie Sexton was going to go nuts and throw his helmet?

Look if they are trying to remove each others tonsils and bordering on trying to leg out a double then you have just cause (this for straight couples as well) but if it is a peck on the cheek or lips then let it slide. I mean on the field you have people of the same gender smacking each other on the ass and the celebrations seen during a walk off situation could be interpret as marriage in some cultures. So what will SAFECO Field do about that huh?

Hey, I am just saying.

So much for the left coast being a bastion of liberalism, tolerance and progressive thinking.  I agree with Boski.  Unless they were trying to inhale each other's faces I don't see the problem.  I think that would be excessive regardless of the gender of the two people involved.

What is more concerning is this article did not answer a thought-provoking question that the readers deserve to know and I feel we have all been done a disservice:  Were they both hot?

+1 for the headline.
