Some fans on a live chat with Mariners GM Jack Zduriencik suggested that the Mariners trade for Ryan Langerhans. Another asked about the ineffectiveness of prospect Michael Morse. A few days later, Morse was on his way to Washington in a trade for Langerhans. Coincidence? Maybe... or is it?

2	This poor bastard (Langerhans) has been the "player to be named later" about 4 times already in his career through trades. But where the Mariners are at right now and the moves they have made in recent years, it might not be a bad idea for them to take suggestions from fans. I mean Richie Sexson 4 years/$50 mil?! Come on now...

Been a Mariners fan along time, the last GM never heard my thoughts and suggestions, and we became the first MLB team with a $100 million payroll to lose a 100 games, is that a coincidence? Maybe, maybe not... Truth Is: Never listen to the fans, take their thoughts into consideration, because when it doesn't work out, who's to blame, the fans... And to think we hired you to be the general manager...
