He's failed at attempts to purchase the Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers.  So what does Mark Cuban want to do with his billions now?

How about buy the BCS.

Cuban, like others, wants to see a playoff system.  He sees visions of a 12-16 team playoff field where the higher seeds get homefield advantage.

The bowl games could still exist under Cuban's plan, but he said he would make it more profitable for programs to make the playoffs than a bowl.

How does Cuban want to do it?

He wants to $500 million in the bank and go to all the schools and pay them money as an option.  He'll pay these schools X amount of dollars every five years in exchange for those schools agreeing to go to a playoff if they are picked for the system.
