Everyone's favorite super-fat coach Mark Mangino looks like he's got his days numbered at Kansas.

Earlier today, KU football players, past and present, were meeting with Kansas Athletic Director Lew Perkins to discuss the coaching methods of Mangino. Apparently Mangino has a habit of undressing (figuratively) his players in public. And that isn't going over so well. Nor is their 5-5 record this season.

Mangino then met with Perkins who told him that the school is bringing in an “unbiased” consultant to evaluate the football program. That's, um, not good.

Needless to say, Mangino probably won't be around next season.

0	Wow, I'm a Mizzou fan and even I think they'd be stupid to fire Mangino. He's the main reason kU football has even gotten national recognition over the past three years. I figure this also depends on the severity of these allegations, but still.

Looking at the picture, it looks like Obie the Orange Bowl mascot is on the verge of getting eaten by Mark Mangino... btw, firing Mangino would be a dumb move by KU, as he's the first coach in a loooong time who's been able to make football relevant at what is, essentially, a basketball school...

0	Whoa, huge shocker. From the outside looking in he's a great coach. Hope this isn't true. He's so much fun to make fun of..... And with Ron Prince gone now, the state of Kansas is starting to run out of makefunable coaches! You can only do so many old jokes on Snyder.... Maybe they'll hire that guy from Notre Dame...
