Mark Sanchez makes speech after Jets loss to the Jaguars
Mark Sanchez made a speech after the Jets' tough loss to the Jaguars. One thing is for sure: he's no Tim Tebow.

After the Jets' 24-22 loss to the Jaguars, Mark Sanchez came to the podium for the post-game press conference with a speech that he had prepared for the media. Here's the transcript:

"To the fans and everybody in Jets Nation, I’m sorry. I’m extremely sorry. We were hoping for an undefeated season. That was my goal, something New York has never done here. I promise you one thing, a lot of good will come out of this. You will never see any player in the entire country play as hard as I will play the rest of the season. You will never see someone push the rest of the team as hard as I will push everybody the rest of the season. You will never see a team play harder than we will the rest of the season. God Bless.

I'm just kidding... that was Tim Tebow's "Promise" speech after Florida lost to Ole Miss last year. You can read Sanchez's speech over at PFT.

Considering the hot dogs are better in Chicago than they are in New York, would Sanchez be playing better if he were a Bear?

What he should probably be saying is "have a little patience, Jets fans, I AM a rookie.  I'm sorry I'm not the lightning in a bottle that you wanted me to be."

They don't have a stadium they play at Giant's stadium.

It's named something else when the Jets play there.  Technically both teams share the stadium at the Meadowlands.

I don't know what he was sorry for.  He did his job at the end of the game.  Its the overrated defense that couldn't stop David Garrard and MJD.
