Mets will pay Bobby Bonilla $30M over the next 25 years

I'd kill to be Bobby Bonilla right now. Not only did he sign the most prolific MLB contract ever (at the time) with the Mets, but then the Mets released him, and struck the most idiotic deal ever. Instead of paying him the $5.9M that they owed him, they decided to pay him $1,193,248.20 per year from 2011-2035. That's a total of $29.83M. Nicely done, Mets. Great deal.
