Michael Crabtree and his agent Eugene Parker are in San Francisco today to renew discussions with the 49ers. Word is that while everyone knows Crabtree wants to be paid more than Darrius Heyward-Bey, who was drafted ahead of him, the 49ers won't be budging on paying Crabtree the alotted amount for the 10th pick.
While that might make you think, "Well, what's going to change?", the truth is that the 49ers 3-1 record combined with Hall of Famer Jim Brown telling Crabtree his legacy has to do with his performance, not how much money he makes, might make things different this time.
Plus, all indications are that Crabtree is going to cave. Why else would he be renewing discussions now?
But what do you think? Do you think the deal finally gets done this week?
