Mike Holmgren could be working for the Browns... but not as head coach
According to Adam Schefter, Holmgren is on a list of 4 (includes Ron Wolf, Ernie Accorsi, and Rich McCay) to become VP of Football Operations in Cleveland (the same job Bill Parcells has in Miami). Can we just give Mike a headset and let him coach this damn team.

Ugh I wish Paul Allen would hurry up and just tell him to hang tight...so he can replace Ruskell at the end of the season.

I'd have to say adding Holmgren in any position for the Browns would help them out.

VP of Football Operations? Head Coach? Forget that, put the man on the O-Line.

This is a tough sell. Holmgren wants to coach an east coast team ( Redskins come to mind ). Forget Accorsi. He wants no part of the Browns at all. I'd rather choose Ron Wolf over Rich McCay. Then, at the end of the season, we'll fire Mangini, and hire Jon Gruden as the next Head Coach.

Yeah, this might turn into a bidding war.  After two over-the-top beatings in the last 3 weeks, the Bears would love to have him too.

I think it would definitely be better use of Seattle's money if it does come to that than what they've been throwing it away on the past few years.

A very knowledgable football guy. If this happens it can certain help the Browns. Of course right now having my Grandma take over would help the Browns

Holmgren would be a great asset to Cleveland.  Make the move.  Eric M. is a complete failure there and needs to go for the good of the franchise.

I'd rather he become head coach in SF.

Well... Singletary is making the decisions that are leading to poor play on the field. I mean, he did decide to go with Smith and SF hasn't won a game since he made that move.
