Milton Bradley says that Lou Piniella's recent outburst directed at him was an example of the double standard that he gets, due to his history of going ballistic.
Well, Milton... that's what you get when you have a history like that.
Compared to how Lou Pinella handles Carlos Zambrano whenever he has an outburst, I think there is a double standard going on. Twice this season Zambrano has gone off and beat up a Gatorade cooler and thrown a ball into the stands, yet Pinella never called him out or told him enough was enough. Bradley goes off in the tunnel, away from the playing field and any cameras that could catch his outburst and Lou decides to call him out in a press conference.

I think you bring up a good point, Scott. The only thing I would add is that all of us give more slack to people we trust. Lou doesn't have a trust with Bradley yet.
