During tonight's Chicago White Sox/Texas Rangers game, a line of violent thunderstorms and a threat of tornadoes forced the team to evacute Rangers ballpark for a brief time.  Fans were escorted from the stands thru the dugouts to underground tunnels inside the park to wait out the storms.

This is the latest story concerning mother nature and the violent storms she has produced this spring.  In terms of baseball, there have already been more games cancelled this year (28) then there were for all of last season combined (24).  With all the devestation left behind this spring in Alabama and now Joplin, Missouri, the Rangers did the right thing by getting fans to safe ground to wait out the storms.
